Add a Gifford Cat to Your Family
We have many wonderful cats available for adoption at Gifford Cat Shelter. You are sure to find a cat who will fit your lifestyle and personality!
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption form on our website. It's free to complete and non-binding. Once you've completed your adoption profile, which includes reference checks and a call with an adoption counselor, you will remain an active Gifford adopter in our system for three months.
Visiting us
After your adoption profile is complete* you will be invited to make an appointment to visit us.
*Please complete the form below. Upon receipt we will be in touch regarding next steps which include checking vet references and landlord pet allowances and speaking on the phone with one of our adoption counselors. These items must be completed prior to visiting.
The process of completing your profile is speedy, typically taking only a few days, but we unfortunately cannot accommodate same day applications.
